Andy Diouf tried at wing-back then up front, N'Golo Kanté controlled midfield again, and Michael Olise hit his trademark. They headline the French abroad XI of the weekend.

According to L'Équipe, the selection lines up 5-2-3. Jean Butez claimed his 18th clean sheet in 36 rounds as Como beat Hellas Verona 1-0, saving in the third minute and surviving a 74th minute offside.

On only his second Serie A start, Diouf acknowledged a slow adaptation after Inter's 3-0 at Lazio. From right wing-back he hurt the hosts, involved in Sucic's 37th minute opener, then finding Bonny before Mkhitaryan scored on 76 after moving forward.

Theo Hernandez struck in the Saudi Cup semi against Al-Ahli, then did so again in the final with a left-foot finish on 45+2 in a 2-1 win over Al Kholood, his ninth goal and first trophy with Al-Hilal.

In midfield, N'Golo Kanté dominated Fenerbahçe's 3-0 win at Konyaspor alongside Mattéo Guendouzi, recording eight recoveries, two interceptions, three duels won, two dribbles, and completing 61 of 65 passes, 94 percent, with three key passes.

After a frustrating midweek against PSG, Olise won a 33rd minute penalty at Wolfsburg that Harry Kane missed, then cut inside to smash his 56th minute strike in off the bar, his 15th Bundesliga goal.

Michaël Cuisance also delivered for Hertha Berlin, seeing a 27th minute effort ruled offside before driving the 84th minute winner in a 2-1 defeat of Greuther Fürth, his third of the campaign.
