FC Bayern has secured another high-profile partner. Going forward, the German record champion will be collaborating with Google. The partnership is designed for the long term and could bring the Munich club additional revenue in the millions.
FC Bayern continues to expand its sponsorship portfolio. According to tz, the German record champions have entered into a partnership with the U.S. technology giant Google. The collaboration has been in the works for some time, and the contracts have now been signed.
The partnership is initially set to run through 2029. Although the scope of the sponsorship has not yet been officially confirmed, the Munich-based club is expected to comment on the matter shortly. One thing is already certain: On Friday, the deal was sealed at Säbener Straße with the customary sponsorship photo. Pictured are Bayern board member Rouven Kasper and Dr. Anne-Katrin Hübel, Senior Director of Marketing for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at Google.
For Google, the partnership with FC Bayern represents the next step in its soccer business. The search engine giant has been an official partner of the German men’s national team since April. Together with the DFB, the company is working, among other things, to further develop the information and fan experience using artificial intelligence. Google has also been involved in women’s soccer for some time now as a partner of the Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga and the German women’s national team.
The specific details of the partnership with FC Bayern are still being worked out. However, observers expect that, in addition to digital projects, the women’s division of the record-holding champion could also benefit from the collaboration. A deal with a global corporation like Google is also likely to be financially lucrative.

For Chief Marketing Officer Rouven Kasper, the conclusion of this partnership marks another major success. Just at the end of June, the Munich-based club extended its partnership with Coca-Cola through 2031, followed in early July by a new partnership with Ledvance as its official lighting partner. The deal with Google, however, is likely to be the most prestigious sponsorship deal Kasper has secured since his move from VfB Stuttgart to Säbener Straße.
Furthermore, FC Bayern gains additional planning certainty. Against the backdrop of ongoing speculation about a possible reduction or end to Audi’s involvement, the partnership with one of the world’s most valuable technology companies further strengthens the financial position of Germany’s record champion.
