Napoli have won the Serie A title for the second time in three seasons and this comes after their 2-0 win over Cagliari.
Inter also beat Como but the one-point gap between the two teams has made sure that Antonio Conte has won the Serie A with three different teams and he is the only manager to have done so in history.
There have been rumours about the Italian’s future and he has been linked with a move back to Juventus. But Conte was asked about his future after the title win with Napoli and he revealed that he has an excellent relationship with president Aurelio de Laurentiis.
He told DAZN, via Di Marzio: “We are enjoying everything, I have a great relationship with the president and with the family. We have had the chance to get to know each other, now in the end we are all celebrating together: we are two winners, maybe in different ways but we are.”
He revealed that winning the title at Napoli is always very difficult, claiming: “Winning in Naples is very difficult . Those who have done it twice have important values, otherwise it doesn’t happen twice in a short time. You don’t start in a club that systematically plays to win.”
Scott McTominay had scored Napoli’s first goal of the game and it was a speculatar overhead kick. This was followed by Romelu Lukaku’s impressing solo goal.
