The United Arab Emirates' journey in the 2025 Arab Cup came to an end just short of the final. Having knocked out Algeria in the quarter-finals after a dramatic penalty shootout, the Emiratis this time fell to a dominant Moroccan side in the semi-finals.
At the Khalifa International Stadium in Al Rayyan, the Atlas Lions stamped their authority with a commanding 3-0 victory. Karim El Berkaoui opened the scoring in the 28th minute, before Achraf El Mahdioui doubled the lead late on (83rd). Abderrazzaq Hamed-Allah put the result beyond doubt in stoppage time (90+2), sealing Morocco's comprehensive win.
With this triumph, Morocco punches their ticket to the final of the 2025 Arab Cup. Tarik Sektioui's men will face the winner of the other semi-final between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, scheduled for 18:30. The final will take place at Lusail Stadium, the iconic venue that hosted the 2022 World Cup final.
