A few of the bigger names in the Americas were in action this evening as we wind down the October international break.

FULL-TIME USA 2-1 AUSTRALIA

It's a solid comeback victory for Pochettino's side, spurred on by a Haji Wright brace. The Stars and Stripes are beginning to look like what fans expected heading into 2026!

Big save Matt Freese! Australia looked to have a chance to equalize just before stoppage-time, but the U.S. keeper made a solid save from close-range.

U.S. nearly double their lead! Diego Luna was played in for a point-blank chance but the Australian keeper came up large with a strong save.

FULL-TIME CANADA 0-0 COLOMBIA

It is a pretty stale friendly all in all. A second-half Jonathan David goal was ruled out as the two sides finish goalless in New Jersey.

It's an absolute beauty from Haji Wright to secure his brace! A quickly taken free-kick sprung the forward in behind, and after a slick cutback he curled a left-footed shot into the corner of the net. 2-1 United States!

Canada looked to have taken the lead against Colombia but Jonathan David's goal was ruled out for after the referee flagged for offside in the buildup!

We're back underway in the second-half of USA vs Australia, while Canada and Colombia head into the final 15 minutes in New Jersey.

FULL-TIME ARGENTINA 6-0 PUERTO RICO

It's a friendly thrashing for Argentina as they put six past Puerto Rico.

Leo Messi returned to the starting lineup and bagged two assists.

It's 6-0 now! Lautaro has added his second in quick succession, as Argentina cruise to the finish line in Miami.

It remains very stale between Canada and Colombia. Through an hour we have just two shots on target total!

The Aussies have struck first in Denver to stun a sold-out crowd in the opening 30 minutes against the United States.

The U.S. are dominating possession in the opening minutes against Australia as Mauricio Pochettino's side look to control proceedings. But it's merely probing in the Aussie's half for now.

The anthems are done and the players are lined up to get underway between the United States and Australia in Denver.

After that close shave, Argentina have opened the scoring through Alexis Mac Allister!

The Liverpool man headed home a shot-cross driven into the ground by Nicolás González. 1-0 to the World champions!

Puerto Rico nearly score from beyond the halfway line!

To nobody's surprise, it's a dominant start for Argentina up against Puerto Rico.

However, the closest either side has come to scoring has been Puerto Rico's Leandro Antonetti's effort from beyond the halfway line. It forced a save out of Emi Martínez!

It may a neutral venue for Canada and Colombia in New Jersey this evening, but the crowd looks set to be very pro-Colombia.

And we're underway at Chase Stadium as Messi makes his national team return.
