Arias return could lift Palmeiras for Coritiba clash after World Cup | OneFootball

According to Nosso Palestra, Arias will rejoin Palmeiras on Saturday 18 after representing Colombia at the World Cup.

He has a good chance of being available to Abel Ferreira for the trip to Coritiba on Wednesday 22 at 19:30 Brasília time at Couto Pereira, in round 19 of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

The possible return comes amid attacking headaches for the coach. Paulinho and Allan are suspended by the STJD, while Flaco López remains with Argentina for the World Cup final.

Signed to add speed and mobility, Arias can operate across the front line. He could step straight in if his post-tournament fitness is satisfactory.
