Arkadiusz Milik back in Juventus squad after more than 18 months out | OneFootball

Arkadiusz Milik has been named in Juventus’s squad for the Serie A match against AS Roma on Saturday at 20:45.

According to L'Équipe, it is the Poland striker’s first call-up in more than 18 months after persistent problems in his left knee.

He sustained the knee injury in June 2024 and has not featured since 25 May 2024, the final day of the 2023-2024 league season.

Head coach Luciano Spalletti said Milik would be involved, describing him as delighted to be back and noting that his attributes could help the team.

After two knee operations, Milik returned to training in mid-December. Since joining Juventus in August 2022, the former Napoli and Marseille forward has scored 17 goals in 75 appearances in all competitions. In May, the club extended his contract by one year to 2027.
