Adam Armstrong is confident Wolves can pick up where they left off despite an extended late-season break.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, Rob Edwards’ men face a wait of more than three weeks before they play again, away at West Ham. The gap follows this weekend’s scheduled home match against Arsenal being brought forward to last month.
Wolves have taken seven points from their last three matches, their strongest spell of a demanding campaign. Monday’s 2-2 draw at Brentford included Armstrong’s first goal for the club since joining in January.
The striker does not believe the lay-off will interrupt momentum. “It is going to be interesting with a big three-week break but we will be working hard.”
Wolves are next due to return to action at West Ham after the hiatus.
