Liverpool added yet another win to their Champions League tally on Wednesday as they managed to beat Marseille 3-1.
And, while there were certain moments during the game when it felt like the Anfield outfit were on the back foot, fortunately, Arne Slot's men managed to hold their own and prove their worth.
Mohamed Salah also made his return to the team after returning from AFCON which likely helped them out.
Despite their win, Slot was still made to look rather silly on Wednesday evening.

For most of the 2025-26 campaign, Slot has banged on about how facing low blocks has managed to kill any sort of momentum Liverpool have gained this season.
These low-block formations have caused the Dutchman to change his ways and try to instil a new way of playing into his first-team squad.
And, while this new style seemed to work at the start, Liverpool's performances have been inconsistent resulting in them being fourth in the Premier League table.
However, when they played on the break against Marseille on Wednesday, we saw the old version of Liverpool re-emerge with Jurgen Klopp's ways still drilled into the way that they play.
Most of the Reds' big chances came when their opponents broke down in the centre of the park which resulted in the Reds picking up the ball and going on the break.
The sheer speed of players such as Jeremie Frimpong and Salah can be capitalised using this playstyle and is likely one of the reasons why Liverpool dominated the Ligue 1 outfit.
With this in mind, it feels like Slot has been made to look silly, especially with how often he's backed his new playing style up this term.
With the way that football is these days, most teams who are at a disadvantage to their opponents will use a low block to put as many bodies behind the ball at possible.
Slot's way of playing may work against some teams but, more often than not, the Reds are going to have the stronger team which means that opponents will do anything they can to keep them away from their goal.
Wednesday's game proved that, now Liverpool's first-team squad have been playing alongside one another for a while, that their pre-season expectations can be met.
However, if Slot doesn't embrace the way that his team plays the best, he could be in for a season of pain.
Liverpool still have a chance to win the Champions League and the FA Cup this season but, if they continue trying to force a playing style that clearly doesn't work, they could end up in a worse position than they currently find themselves in.
