According to L'Équipe, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot said he had spoken with Mohamed Salah and that they had moved on before the forward departed for the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Speaking on Friday, on the eve of the Tottenham match, he addressed questions about their early December disagreement and said the issue was settled before Salah joined Egypt for a tournament running from 21 December to 18 January.
Slot cited last Saturday's 2-0 win over Brighton, when Salah came on in the 26th minute, as evidence, and said focus now turns to Egypt's campaign.
Liverpool will be without Salah, plus Cody Gakpo and Joe Gomez, both injured. Dominik Szoboszlai trained on Thursday for the first time since being hurt late in that Brighton game, and his fitness will be assessed before kick-off.
Slot said Szoboszlai would start if he feels comfortable and does everything required. Liverpool are unbeaten in five after a difficult spell.
