Arsenal agree Besiktas deal for Trossard sale | OneFootball

Belgium international Leandro Trossard will leave Premier League winners Arsenal Arsenal to join Besiktas.

Besiktas are expected to pay €18 million (£15.4 million), with the possibility of a further €2 million (£1.7 million) in performance-related bonuses. The Belgian had just one year left on his contract with the English side and is set to sign until the end of the 2029 season, with an option to extend for another year, on a salary that is reportedly expected to reach €8 million a year (£6.9 million).

Trossard began his career with Genk in Belgium, and later made his move to English football in the 2019/20 season, initially joining Brighton & Hove Albion and remaining there until the end of 2022, before moving to Arsenal in the winter transfer window.

In a Gunners shirt, Trossard has made 174 appearances, scoring 36 goals and providing 32 assists, including eight goals and 10 assists in 50 matches last season.
