In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey claimed that Arsenal are among the clubs hoping to sign Inter Milan forward Pio Esposito this summer. It has been mentioned that the Gunners would have to rival Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea in the race to land the Italian striker in this transfer window.
Esposito managed to catch the eye at times with his performances for Inter Milan in the final third last season. The 20-year-old scored ten goals and secured six assists in 48 matches for the Italian club in the previous campaign across multiple competitions.
The Italian prospect is currently one of the most gifted young forwards in Serie A. Thus, the Gunners would do well to lure him to the Emirates Stadium this off-season.
His current contract at San Siro will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it difficult for Arsenal to snap him up on the cheap later this year.

Esposito can find a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to create some inviting chances for others around him on the offensive end of the field.
The Italian sensation is a decent dribbler with the ball as well. Standing at 1.91m, Esposito is a strong presence in the air but is still quite inexperienced at the highest level. Furthermore, the jury is still out on whether he can maintain his good form in the Premier League if the Gunners manage to bring him to England this summer.
We can expect Esposito to improve the quality of Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s attack in the long run. He is already good enough to challenge for regular first-team football at the North London club in the coming seasons.
At 20, Esposito has got the ceiling to be a future star in the Premier League. He is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future, so Arsenal should focus on getting him on board before the end of this summer transfer period.
