In a recent report, Fichajes revealed that Arsenal are eyeing a move for Aston Villa star Ezri Konsa. It has been mentioned that the Gunners are planning to launch a €60m move to land the English defender this summer.
Konsa enjoyed a good run of form at the Midlands club as he put in a string of impressive displays for them on the defensive end of the field. The 28-year-old scored two goals and grabbed one assist in 48 matches for the Villans last season across all competitions.
The English sensation is currently one of the best centre-halves in the Premier League. Hence, the Gunners would do well to bring him on board later this year.
His current contract at Villa Park will expire in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for Arsenal to sign him on a cut-price deal in this transfer period.

Konsa is a solid tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to secure possession back for his team on the defensive end of the pitch. He usually puts his foot through the ball when required and excels at playing his way out from the back.
The English sensation has got a wealth of experience at the highest level. Konsa is primarily a central defender but can also operate as a right-back if asked to do so by his manager. He knows the Premier League well and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Arsenal if they manage to get a deal done for him in this transfer window.
We can expect Konsa to enhance the quality of Mikel Arteta’s frontline. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the North London club next season.
At 28, Konsa has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent option for the Gunners to pursue in this transfer period. Plus, he would help the London giants compete for some major trophies over the next few years. Therefore, Arteta would be wise to go all out to snap him up this off-season.
