Arsenal bid for Christian Norgaard

Arsenal have placed a bid for Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard according to reports.

Journalist David Ornstein of The Athletic is reporting that the Gunners have offered £9.3 million for the Bees' captain.

Norgaard has been a key player for Brentford since joining the club from Fiorentina in the summer of 2019, helping his side earn promotion to the Premier League and become a solid outfit in the top flight.

During his six seasons with the club, the Dane has played 196 times for the club, scoring 13 goals and assisting 17.

Should Brentford agree to sell Norgaard, who still has two years left on his contract, then it would mean that the club have lost their captain and manager in the same summer with star man Bryan Mbeumo also being linked with a move away from the Gtech.
