Arsenal Carabao Cup fixture date confirmed | OneFootball

Arsenal will host Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup fourth round on Wednesday, 29 October, with kick-off set for 7.45pm at the Emirates Stadium.

The tie falls between two Premier League fixtures, with Crystal Palace visiting north London the previous weekend before Mikel Arteta’s side travel to newly promoted Burnley.

The match will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK.

It is part of the last 16 of the competition, with the winners advancing to the quarter-finals.

Brighton have been something of a pain for Arsenal over recent years. The sides have faced each other 31 times since they first met in the 1978/80 season, a game the Gunners won 0-4 thanks to goals from Frank Stapleton, Liam Brady and an Alan Sunderland brace.

Last season, the teams played out two 1-1 draws in the league with Arsenal unbeaten in the last four against the Seagulls.
