In a post on the Arsenal website, the club confirmed the list of players leaving the club this summer, including Michal Rosiak.

Back in early June, Rosiak had featured on Arsenal’s list of players still in contract talks with the club, with his deal set to expire on June 30th.

Yet reports earlier this month suggested the player was unlikely to sign the offer on the table, and Arsenal have now confirmed he’s been released.

The Gunners did appear to keep Rosiak’s number 52 shirt free just in case he changed his mind, but he hasn’t been involved in training or the u21s early friendly fixtures.

Given Rosiak’s age (19) and the contract offer on the table, Arsenal would be due some financial compensation from the player’s next club, despite his availability as a free agent.

Clubs are required to pay training compensation fees for under-23 players who had an offer to stay.

Rosiak is a free-kick specialist who made 26 appearances for the Arsenal academy in 2024/25. The teenager made the bench for the Gunners first team in the Champions League quarter-finals against Real Madrid, but he didn’t make it onto the pitch for the senior side.

The versatile right-back/defensive midfielder is also a Poland youth international, appearing up to the u19 age group.
