RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško piqued Paris Saint-Germain’s interest during last summer’s transfer window as the club sought a reliable goal scorer following Kylian Mbappé’s departure.
Should PSG decide to target the talented Slovenian forward, they could be falling in the race as Arsenal look to make an aggressive push.
Šeško, who is under contract with Leipzig until 2029 and valued at €70 million to €75 million, enjoyed a standout 2023-24 season, netting 18 goals and providing two assists in 42 appearances.
While PSG considered several striker options, sporting advisor Luis Campos ultimately chose not to sign a new No. 9.
Šeško has continued his strong form into the 2024-25 season, scoring 15 goals and contributing four assists in 30 matches across all competitions.

CaughtOffside reported on Tuesday, citing sources, that the Gunners have been encouraged by the player’s representatives to submit a bid in the summer, with an offer expected to be “significant.”
The report also mentions that, from the player’s perspective, there’s still some uncertainty about whether he’ll move to the Premier League. CaughtOffside adds, citing sources, that the RB Leipzig board is unsure whether to sell their star player or keep him for another year or two.
Romano recently mentioned on his YouTube channel that Leipzig could be willing to let Sesko go in the summer despite initially being reluctant to sell their star striker in January.
