Liverpool had an offer of around £85m turned down for Diomande earlier this summer, with Leipzig keen to retain the winger for another season. The Reds have since cooled their interest, after Diomande declared his preference for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Ivory Coast international has made it clear that he favours a move to France, though PSG are yet to reach an agreement with Leipzig over a fee. Diomande has agreed personal terms with PSG ahead of a potential move.

According totalkSPORT, Arsenal are exploring the conditions of a transfer as the Gunners seek an alternative to Rogers.

Diomande's ability to operate on either side appeals to Arsenal, who are in the process of overhauling their frontline. Christos Tzolis is set to arrive from Club Brugge, while Leandro Trossard has left for Besiktas. Gabriel Martinelli's future at the Emirates is also in doubt.

Diomande has emerged as one of the most in-demand talents in European football after a superb season in theBundesliga.

The 19-year-old scored 12 goals and added eight assists, earning the Bundesliga's Rookie of the Season award. He then impressed at this summer's World Cup with the Ivory Coast, who reached the knockout stages for the first time.
