Arsenal secured a huge 1-0 victory over West Ham United today to inch closer to their first Premier League title since 2004.
A late goal from Gunners attacker Leandro Trossard got the job done for Mikel Arteta’s men and ensured they returned to Emirates Stadium with all three points.
Arsenal are now five points clear of Manchester City (who have one game in hand) ahead of their final two games of the season but have suffered a huge injury blow ahead of their three biggest matches of 2025-26.
Ben White picked up a knock in the first-half and was withdrawn immediately, and the English defender was seen after the game leaving London Stadium with a brace on his right knee.
Scans will be needed to determine the extent of the injury but the Arsenal star might have played his last game of the season.
The North Londoners are back in action next Monday when they host relegated Burnley at Emirates Stadium, and it remains to be seen whether White will be fit for the game.
A win against Crystal Palace on Wednesday will see Man City return to within two points of Arsenal, and the title will be decided on the last day of the season if both teams win their penultimate games.
The Gunners may need to continue the campaign without White and Arteta and the fans will pray they end 2025-26 with the Premier League and Champions League trophies.
Arsenal travel to Selhurst Park on May 24th to take on Palace in the last game of the Premier League season before facing Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on May 30th in Hungary.
They will fancy their chances of winning all their remaining games this term and will hope none of their players picks up any serious knock going forward.
