Only Matthijs de Ligt is unavailable to interim manager Michael Carrick as he selects his Manchester United starting XI for tomorrow’s Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Noussair Mazraoui is back in contention after his Morocco side lost the final of the Africa Cup of Nations in dramatic fashion on Sunday.
Whether he will replace Diogo Dalot at right-back is one of the selection dilemmas Carrick faces ahead of this difficult challenge.
Senne Lammens will be in goal.
Dalot will probably keep his place ahead of Mazraoui in the right-back role after being part of the heroic defence that kept a clean sheet against Manchester City last weekend.
Following the same logic, Carrick is expected to keep the same back line, with Luke Shaw at left-back and Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez as the centre-backs.
Other options at centre-back are Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven, with Patrick Dorgu another available full-back.
Casemiro is likely to remain in the three-man midfield despite announcing this week that he will leave at the end of the season. He will be joined by Kobbie Mainoo, who also excelled against City.
Bruno Fernandes will continue in the more advanced number 10 role.
Carrick made a point of saying Ben Sesko was only dropped against City for tactical reasons. Therefore, we expect him to be recalled at centre-forward, with Bryan Mbeumo moving back to the right wing.
This leaves three options for the left-wing role: Patrick Dorgu, Matheus Cunha and Amad. The Ivorian is in sensational form, so he will likely get the nod even though his preferred role is on the right.
