Federico Dimarco has established himself as one of Europe’s standout wingbacks, emerging as a key figure for Inter Milan.

According to Opta via FCInter1908, the 28-year-old has been the most creative player in Europe’s top five leagues this season.

Dimarco has flourished under Cristian Chivu this term, enjoying far more game time than he did last season.

Indeed, Simone Inzaghi’s notorious rotations often limited his minutes, preventing him from enjoying a sustained run in the starting lineup.

Moreover, Dimarco has created 16 ‘big chances’ this term, at least four more than any other player from Europe’s top five leagues.

Curiously, Lens defender Matthieu Udol is second on the list with 12.
