Aston Villa among Premier League clubs interested in signing PSG’s Ibrahim Mbaye | OneFootball

According to a report from Sky Sports News, Aston Villa are among several Premier League clubs interested in signing Ibrahim Mbaye (18) from Paris Saint-Germain. The Senegalese international forward is subject to interest ahead of the summer transfer window. 

The Birmingham outfit were linked with a potential move for the PSG academy product in the January transfer window. However, their interested never accelerated toward a concrete offer for the teenager. Chelsea were also linked with a move for Mbaye by Sky Germany.  

Mbaye to join Aston Villa and leave PSG?

The versatile forward’s current contract at the Parc des Princes is set to expire in 2028. However, given the strength of Luis Enrique’s attacking options, the French-born attacker is forced to settle for sporadic minutes from the bench, and may view the opportunity of moving to the Premier League for more minutes as the right step for his development.
