Aston Villa are among the clubs monitoring Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, per the Daily Mail.

Despite his poor decision-making in the final third, Garnacho bagged 11 goals and 10 assists in 58 appearances last season.

However, Man United boss Ruben Amorim does not trust the 21-year-old and has deemed him surplus to requirements.

Villa took his United teammate Marcus Rashford on loan during the second half of the season, and he proved an excellent addition.

They decided not to sign him permanently and have turned to Garnacho to fill the hole in the attack.

The young forward has ample room to develop into a terrifying Premier League winger under the tutelage of Villa manager Unai Emery.

The Man Utd star is crying out for a manager who believes in him enough to let him get the mistakes out of his system and learn.

His end-product and all-around game should improve immensely.

Garnacho would be a stellar pick-up for Villa, but it is unclear if anything will materialise. Man Utd will demand big money, which could be a stumbling block.

Chelsea and Napoli have also been linked with Garnacho. They could beat Villa to the punch if they do not move quickly enough.

Meanwhile, Villa have signed Marco Bizot and Zepiqueno Redmond this summer. The club is also looking at signing 18-year-old Toulouse defender Jaydee Canvot.

There have also been links to profligate Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, but his signing will depend on what happens with club talisman Ollie Watkins.
