Aston Villa injury news: Emery reveals major doubt for Fulham clash with three ruled out | OneFootball

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery says goalkeeper Emi Martinez is a doubt for Sunday’s clash against Fulham.

Martinez missed Villa’s Europa League win over Bologna on Thursday and Emery says he is suffering from a “small injury”.

“It’s difficult today because we played yesterday, we trained this morning and tomorrow we’ll train again,” Emery said ahead of the game.

“We’ll see the players who played yesterday, how they are.

“Some players weren’t available yesterday, especially Emi Martínez. We’ll see tomorrow how he is for Sunday.

“It’s a small injury for Emi Martínez and hopefully he’ll be available for Sunday.”

Meanwhile, midfielders Youri Tielemans, Amadou Onana and Ross Barkley will again miss out.

“Youri Tielemans, Amadou Onana and Ross Barkley are not available,” Emery said. “Other players, we’ll see tomorrow.”
