Aston Villa open talks for Real Betis star | OneFootball

Premier League outfit Aston Villa have opened talks with their counterparts at Real Betis, over the terms of a summer deal for Jesús Rodríguez.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has on Friday provided an insight into the situation.

Youngster Rodríguez is for his part fresh off something of a breakout campaign in his home country of Spain.

After bursting onto the first-team picture at the aforementioned Real Betis, the 19-year-old went on to rack up 21 La Liga appearances.

And the impressive level of Rodríguez’s performances on the left wing did not go at all unnoticed across the continent.

A whole host of clubs have been credited with an interest in the youngster, considered a potential attacking star in the making.

And as alluded to above, this week, one such club have opened talks with the brass at the Estadio Benito Villamarín over the terms of a deal for Rodríguez.

As per a report from Fabrizio Romano:

‘Aston Villa start club to club talks for Real Betis talent Jesús Rodriguez. 2005 born talent on shortlist of several clubs but Villa made contact this week to start discussions.’
