Axel Disasi joined Chelsea from Monaco in the summer of 2023. However, life at Stamford Bridge hasn’t been smooth for him as the player has struggled to establish himself. He is willing to switch clubs to get regular minutes.

Disasi has featured across 16 games in the ongoing season so far. In those many outings, he has managed to net two goals and provide as many assists. He is averaging 1.1 tackles, 0.3 interceptions, and 1.9 clearances per game (stats via whoscored).
The French defender is an intelligent reader of the game and intercepts the threats really well. He marks an aerial dominance and is comfortable on the ball. He also makes attacking progress, contributing directly to the offensive front.
As Axel Disasi isn’t the prime choice for Enzo Maresca, the player is willing to leave Chelsea. He wants to get regular playing time at this stage of his career to keep evolving. Hence, a switch in the winter window or the next summer is very much a possibility.
For now, Aston Villa are showing great interest in Disasi as they need to solidify their defensive line. They are competing in the Champions League and want to secure a berth for next season too. Hence, reinforcement is a must for Unai Emery‘s side.
