They're coming home. After Dusan Pavlovic's side faced tough challenges a few weeks ago against FC Blau-Weiß Linz/Kleinmünchen and SK Sturm Graz as they resumed after the winter break, our first home match of 2026 will take place on Saturday at 13:00 at the Red Bull Football Academy. Austria's top team will be visiting us who are undefeated domestically, with a six-point lead at the top of the table, having conceded only four goals this season, and making waves in Europe. Austria Vienna, whose dream of reaching the UEFA Women's Europa Cup semi-final was only dashed in extra-time against Sparta Prague in February, are the team to beat this season.

Our team is looking to settle the score after a 0-6 defeat in the first meeting and have been warming up during the three-week league break – following the crazy 5-5 draw against their league rivals from Graz – with a 10-1 victory in a friendly match last Friday against second-division side FC Pinzgau Saalfelden. Emelie Kobler got six goals in that. Another reason to be hopeful: last season, our predecessors at FC Bergheim managed a goalless draw against the team from Vienna.
Admission to Saturday's clash is free. For those following from home, ÖFB TV will broadcast this duel between two ÖFB Women's Cup semi-finalists.
Austria Vienna are currently the most dominant team in the league and deservedly top the table. They have a lot of quality and great consistency in their play. For us, it's a very interesting challenge. Matches like this show where we stand as a team, and where we can develop further. We want to play bravely and bring our principles out on the pitch. If we show our intensity and clarity, we can do well.
