Valencia CF will face Athletic Club in the quarter-finals of the 2025–26 Copa del Rey. This pairing was decided in the draw held on Monday morning at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. The match will be played as a single-leg tie, between February 3 and 5, at Mestalla.

Throughout its history, the Club has won the Copa del Rey trophy on eight occasions: 1941, 1949, 1954, 1967, 1979, 1999, 2008 and 2019.

Athletic Club reach this stage of the Copa after defeating Ourense CF and Cultural Leonesa. The most recent Copa del Rey meeting between the two teams took place in 2023.
