The Moroccan national team have officially booked their ticket to the 2026 FIFA World cup marking their 7th appearance in history after commanding 5 - 0 win over Niger in Rabat.
The Atlas Lions became the 1st African side to secure qualification.
With 18 point from 6 win, Morocco top Group E, 8 point clear of Tanzania. Their remaining qualifiers are now only preparatory games ahead of the Africa cup of Nations 2025, hosted on home soil between 21 Dece 2025 & 18 Jan 2026.
Morocco face Zambia on Monday 8 September 2025 in Lusaka. Kick off's set for 13:00 (GMT).
