Inter Milan star Yann Bisseck revealed his frustration after last night’s 2-1 Champions League loss to Atletico Madrid.
Speaking to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, Bisseck insisted that the Nerazzurri ‘deserved more’ at the Metropolitano Stadium.
Cristian Chivu couldn’t recover his side following a heartbreaking defeat in the Milan derby last weekend.
Indeed, Atletico Madrid further dampened Inter’s spirits, scoring a last-minute winner on Tuesday evening.
Despite equalizing Los Rojiblancos’ early lead through Piotr Zielinski, Inter conceded deep into the second-half stoppages.
As a result, Chivu’s perfect managerial record in the Champions League came to a halt.
Furthermore, the San Siro giants have now lost back-to-back matches for the second time this season.
However, Bisseck was one of the best visiting players on the pitch.
The German defender performed admirably against Julian Alvarez, despite the Argentine giving Atletico the lead in the ninth minute.
Following an underwhelming start to the season, Bisseck has fought his way up the Nerazzurri hierarchy.

“We deserved more,” Bisseck claimed after the game. “Sometimes football goes like this.
“We’re not lacking in grit; we always play hard, even without the ball. I don’t think that’s the problem.
“And we’re just a bit unlucky, as we’ve had five shots in the last two games and conceded three goals.
“We need to keep pushing.”
Furthermore, Bisseck admitted that conceding late left Inter frustrated.
“Tonight we’re a bit down,” he added. “Tomorrow, we’ll analyze the match and continue working and training to show another reaction, like we did today.
“The performance was good, but in the end, results are what matter.”
Inter will look to bounce back on Sunday when they take on Serie A newcomers Pisa.
After losing to Milan last weekend, the Nerazzurri trail table-topping Roma by three points.
