Atlético-MG step up pursuit of Luighi, seek agreement with Palmeiras | OneFootball

Palmeiras are shaping their 2026 squad and, after progressing a loan move for Raphael Veiga, could lose another player. According to Nosso Palestra, Atlético-MG have intensified talks in recent days to sign forward Luighi and are seeking an agreement with Palmeiras.

Palmeiras prefer a permanent sale, and both sides are working to agree a fee to complete any deal.

The club have received three proposals from Brazil and abroad for the academy product, who has been with the senior squad since 2024.

The football department is assessing conditions and does not rule out a negotiation in this window. Luighi scored Palmeiras’ first goal of 2026 in the Paulista opener against Portuguesa.

He joined the academy in 2016 at Under-11 level, then progressed to the first team in 2024. He has 29 senior appearances, with four goals and one assist.
