Aurèle Amenda on Valencia list as he pushes Eintracht for loan move | OneFootball

According to Superdeporte, Valencia have moved for Aurèle Amenda, who is under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2029. The Swiss centre-back is pushing the German club to accept a loan until the end of the season. Eintracht initially resisted, having spent almost 10 million euros on him about 18 months ago.

Most clubs contacting the player’s camp are seeking a loan to June, which matches his plan to gain minutes in the second half of the campaign. His aim is to boost his chances of making Switzerland’s squad for the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Born in Biel and of Cameroonian origin, the 22-year-old stands 1.94 m and came through Young Boys. He impressed in the Swiss league before Eintracht signed him in June 2024. He has four senior caps and, if he can secure a starting role, he could make Murat Yakin’s list.

Eintracht’s sporting department, for now, prefers a permanent sale and has relayed that stance to interested clubs. Another complication is the competition for the player’s signature.

Celtic are among the suitors, while Mainz, Nice, Lorient and Torino are also keen. Valencia are aware the Amenda option is complicated.
