Yasin Ayari is nearing a return for Brighton against Nottingham Forest after a shoulder injury, weeks after Forest bid £20 million for him, according to WeAreBrighton.com.
The Swedish midfielder hit two goals and two assists in January, earning a Premier League Player of the Month nomination. He then dislocated his shoulder in the 1-1 draw with Everton.
Fabian Hurzeler said before the 2-0 win at Brentford that he expected Ayari back in training this week. Ayari has completed non-contact work and a first contact session was set for Thursday, after which he could be in contention.
James Milner, who hobbled off late in his 654th Premier League appearance last weekend, was suffering from cramp only. He has trained with intensity all week and is available for Sunday.
Solly March could make the bench. After around 10 months out, Brighton plan to manage his minutes and choose the right game, with Hurzeler saying he is getting closer.
Hurzeler turned 33 and marked it with cake, shared with media and staff. He also bought treats at 6.40am for his colleagues.
