The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw is now finally upon us, and here is everything you need to know in order to keep up to date with proceedings.

A number of matches will take place to conclude the fourth round of the competition prior to Wednesday night’s draw procedure, following on from two ties completed in the round 24 hours prior.

Southampton defeated Stoke City at St Mary’s Stadium to reach the last-eight of the tournament via a 3-2 scoreline, while Brentford had to defeat Sheffield Wednesday in a penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

Among the fixtures taking place prior to the draw on Wednesday night are Brighton & Hove Albion’s meeting with Liverpool on the south coast, Newcastle United taking on Chelsea in the north-east, and Manchester United hosting Leicester City at Old Trafford.

For Pep Guardiola and Manchester City, their meeting is an away trip against Tottenham, which marks the start of a run of four consecutive away fixtures across three competitions in the next two weeks.

The quarter-final draw of the 2024/25 Carabao Cup will take place on Wednesday night, and immediately after the fourth round tie between Tottenham and Manchester City.
