The adventure between Julian Brandt and Borussia Dortmund is coming to an end. The 29-year-old attacking midfielder will leave the German club at the end of the season, as both parties have decided not to extend their partnership.

Arriving in 2019 from Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Brandt has played nearly 300 matches for Dortmund, scoring 56 goals and providing 69 assists. According to Sky Sport Germany, several clubs are now monitoring the player's situation. Among them are FC Barcelona and Arsenal FC, both interested in his profile for next season.

The German had already been linked with Inter Milan and Everton FC in recent months. For now, no official talks have taken place. One thing seems certain, however: Brandt's next destination is likely to be in Spain, Italy, or England.
