A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona saw his fruitless streak in front of goal extended yet further on Sunday.
The player in question? Ferran Torres.
Barcelona were of course back in action earlier today, welcoming Rayo Vallecano to Catalunya’s capital for a league clash.
The aforementioned Ferran was for his part forced to make do with a place on the bench from the off at the Spotify Camp Nou, before being introduced to the action at half-time.
Across the ensuing 45 minutes, however, the Spanish international failed to make any impact of note.
This came amid what has been something of an underwhelming recent stretch of form on Ferran’s part.
And such woes have since been perfectly summed up by one head-turning statistic.
Ferran has now not found the net in Barcelona colours since all the way back in January, in a 3-1 La Liga downing of Elche.
This amounts to 11 goalless appearances across all competitions.
