Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Anthony Gordon on a five-year contract to 2031, making the 25-year-old their first summer addition.
The club said in a statement that they had reached agreement with Newcastle for the England winger. Barcelona, the reigning back-to-back Spanish champions, are seeking attacking reinforcements after the departure of Robert Lewandowski, 37.

The fee was not disclosed.
Capped 17 times with two goals, Gordon is set to contest his first World Cup, scheduled from 11 June to 19 July.
Born in Liverpool and developed at Everton, he moved to Newcastle in 2023 for about 50 million euros.
He faced Barça twice in last season’s Champions League, scoring 10 goals in 12 matches in that campaign.
