The next step is finding the formula for his departure. The report suggests a contract termination is the most likely outcome, though a small compensation package or another arrangement could still be needed.

From a Barcelona perspective, this is the kind of market opportunity that makes sense if the numbers are controlled. Cancelo knows the club, offers creativity from full-back, and gives Flick an experienced option in possession.
