La Liga giants Barcelona have on Thursday been afforded some timely positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that both Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor will be available for selection for the remainder of the campaign.
The ‘registration case’ in Catalunya’s capital was of course thrown back into the headlines over the course of the last 24 hours.
As confirmed in a statement released by La Liga, cited by Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish football powers that be came to the decision to ‘invalidate the financial fair play operation that allowed FC Barcelona to register Pau Víctor and Dani Olmo’.
As much comes after the brass at the Camp Nou failed to include the needed €100 million from the sale of the club’s VIP stadium seats in their latest budget.
The respective registrations of summer signings Olmo and Víctor, as a result, were thrown back up in the air.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from Spain on Thursday is anything to go by, then Barca, for the time being at least, need not fret.
This comes amid confirmation that the Spanish High Council for Sports have backed the Blaugrana in their battle against La Liga.
As per Fabrizio Romano:
‘CSD agree with Barcelona stance stance. Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor will stay registered at least until the end of this season.’
