Barcelona have ‘presented their project’ to key Real Madrid transfer target | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona recently sat down for a meeting with the representatives of Bournemouth star Dean Huijsen.

That’s according to transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio, who has this week provided an insight into the situation.

Defender Huijsen has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the headlines across Spain over the course of recent days and weeks.

This comes amid the widespread understanding that the youngster has been identified as a leading transfer target on the part of Real Madrid.

Amid ongoing efforts to reinforce the heart of the club’s backline with a view to next season, Huijsen has been earmarked as the ideal profile of player.

In turn, it may come as something of a concern for those of a Blancos persuasion to learn of alleged rival interest on the part of none other than Barcelona.

As per a report from Gianluca Di Marzio, in fact:

‘Real Madrid and Barcelona have presented their projects for the boy and several English clubs have done the same in recent weeks, including Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.’

It is also noted, though, that Huijsen himself is leaning towards a move to Real Madrid.
