In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Barcelona have identified Vasco da Gama winger Rayan as a target. It has been mentioned that the Catalan club are eyeing a move to bring the Brazilian wide player to the Nou Camp next year.

Rayan’s Impressive Rise In Brazilian Football

The 19-year-old has come through the youth ranks of the Brazilian club and has done well to establish himself as an important member of their senior team. Rayan has already made 90 senior appearances for his current employers so far, scoring 20 goals and earning two assists across all fronts.

The Brazilian playmaker is currently among the best young wingers in his homeland. Hence, Barcelona would do well to bring him on board next year.

His current contract at Vasco da Gama will run out at the end of 2026. Thus, the Catalan giants could potentially land Rayan on the cheap this January or at the end of this campaign.

Rayan excels at finding a yard of space to get a few strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to engineer a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third.

The Brazilian sensation is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. Rayan is primarily a right-winger but can also fill in as a left-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if needed. However, he is still quite raw and would need time to prove his worth in La Liga if Barcelona manage to snap him up next year.

We can expect Rayan to enhance the quality of Barca boss Hansi Flick’s attack in the long run. He has what it takes to challenge for a regular first-team spot at the Nou Camp in the coming years.
