Many FC Barcelona players have played excellently for Hansi Flick’s team in the season so far, but arguably one of the biggest breakout stars this campaign has undoubtedly been Fermin Lopez.

He has also seen his market value soar after a superb 2025-26 campaign, with the latest Transfermarkt update placing him at €100 million. According to Mundo Deportivo, that makes him the player with the biggest valuation increase in La Liga in this latest revision.

The rise is a significant one. Fermin’s previous valuation stood at €70 million, meaning he has now received a €30 million boost, taking him into nine-figure territory for the first time.

His breakout season is the key reason behind that surge, with the Barcelona midfielder producing 11 goals and 15 assists so far this term.

That leap says plenty about how highly he is now regarded. Fermin has grown into one of the most decisive midfielders in Barcelona’s squad this season, offering energy, verticality, and a consistent threat in the final third.

Fermin is not the only Barcelona player whose value has gone up. Marc Bernal has risen by €20 million, Pedri by €10 million, and Joan Garcia by €10 million, while Eric Garcia and Gerard Martin have also seen increases. Still, it is Fermin who stands out most prominently from the latest update.

For Barcelona, it is further confirmation that they have a hugely valuable asset on their hands. More importantly, though, it underlines the level Fermin has reached through his performances on the pitch.

Right now, he is no longer just a useful squad player or promising academy graduate. He is being valued like one of the biggest midfield assets in Spanish football.
