Barcelona send public message to La Liga’s 3 relegated clubs

La Liga champions Barcelona sent out a message of support to all of RCD Mallorca, Girona and Real Oviedo late on Saturday.
This came after the three clubs saw their respective stays in the top-flight of Spanish football officially brought to an end.
The season’s final round of La Liga fixtures were of course played out yesterday evening.
When all was said and done on a historically tense night, the likes of Levante and Osasuna escaped relegation, condemning the aforementioned Mallorca, Girona and Real Oviedo to the drop.
This means a year in Spain’s 2nd tier lies in wait for the three clubs.
Messages of support and well-wishes have in turn since come flooding in from across the Spanish football landscape, and beyond.
And as alluded to above, amongst those quick to send their best the way of their now-former La Liga rivals were none other than champions Barcelona.
