Barcelona star misses training after Osasuna | OneFootball

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski played no part in group training at the club’s base on Sunday morning.

This comes with the Pole dealing with a number of minor fitness complaints.

Barcelona were of course back in action yesterday evening, welcoming Osasuna to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash.

The Blaugrana ultimately emerged 2-0 victors, courtesy of a 2nd-half brace on the part of Raphinha.

Attacking partner-in-crime Lewandowski, though, played no part at the Spotify Camp Nou, watching on from the bench for the duration of the 90 minutes.

Post-match, it was revealed that as much came with the Pole lacking match fitness.

And as alluded to above, a day on, Lewandowski is evidently yet to recover from as much.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘The striker did not play (vs Osasuna) due to back and hamstring discomfort and stayed in the gym on Sunday as a precaution.’
