This past weekend saw FC Barcelona veteran superstar Robert Lewandowski make his comeback in the win against Elche after being sidelined for three weeks with an injury.
The 37-year-old striker returned from the previous international window carrying a thigh injury that was expected to keep him out for at least a month.
But, having worked hard on his recovery, Lewandowski was able to return much earlier than anticipated, coming on as a 74th-minute substitute for Marcus Rashford vs Elche.
As Barcelona gear up to take on Club Brugge later tonight in the UEFA Champions League, Hansi Flick has a decision to make with the No. 9 slot – whether to continue with Ferran Torres or start Lewandowski.
And, according to Adria Albets on Que T’hi Jugues, the feelings surrounding Lewandowski following his return are great, and the 37-year-old Barcelona striker is ready to start against Club Brugge.

So far this season, the veteran forward has featured in ten matches across all competitions, starting only four of those. He has scored four goals in the process.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference on Wednesday, Lewandowski made it clear that he was feeling fully fit and raring to go.
“I feel good after the injury, physically, I feel very good. I already played with the team three days ago, and for me, the most important thing is how I can help the team win,” said Lewandowski.
“I’ve had two injuries, but I’ve been working really well in the last two weeks, and now I’m at a high level,” he added.
It will now be up to Flick to decide whether Lewandowski is ready to start from the get-go against Club Brugge or not.
After all, the German tactician has been managing the veteran’s minutes more carefully this season, and has entrusted Ferran with greater responsibilities as a starter.
