Barcelona will face Birmingham City in a pre-season friendly in the West Midlands next month.
The match is at St Andrew’s on Friday 31 July at 7.45pm. Birmingham City chief executive Jeremy Dale said the club are thrilled to welcome Barcelona to St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park, calling it a memorable occasion and a sign of the club’s ambition and progress, adding that Barcelona had chosen to start their pre-season with Birmingham and that, with the visitors’ global fanbase and the reach of City’s international streaming service, global attention will focus on St Andrew’s as they build towards the new season.

Barcelona are the reigning Spanish champions.
They finished eight points ahead of Real Madrid last season.
The La Liga giants boast stars including Lamine Yamal.
