Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has on Sunday evening seen his name linked with that of a former member of the attacking ranks at Real Madrid once more.

This comes owing to his exploits in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.

Barcelona are currently locked in action, in their penultimate outing of the La Liga campaign.

With the club’s status as Spanish champions already sewn up, Hansi Flick’s troops have welcomed in-form Villarreal to Catalunya’s capital.

The aforementioned Lamine, for his part, featured from the off in the clash, from his customary berth on the right wing.

And as alluded to above, the 17-year-old was not long in making his mark on proceedings…

After Villarreal took the lead inside five minutes courtesy of Ayoze Pérez, Lamine drew Barcelona level in nothing short of spectacular fashion.

Cutting inside onto his trusty left foot, the youngster left a pair of defenders for dead, before bending a sumptuous finish into the far bottom corner.

And in the process, Lamine secured for himself a fresh round of comparisons with something of a winger icon: Arjen Robben.
