Barcelona’s transfer team will be watching two Monaco stars closely in UCL clash | OneFootball

The transfer team at La Liga giants Barcelona will have their sights firmly on two players, when the Blaugrana return to action against AS Monaco on Thursday night.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Vanderson and Caio Henrique as the pair in question.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements at full-back, Barcelona are understood to have earmarked both Vanderson (right) and Henrique (left) as potential targets.

In fact, with Deco and co. eager to add fresh blood at the back as early as January, a move for one of the two could be kickstarted at some point over the weeks ahead.

As much, though, will likely be dependent on how they fare under the bright lights of the Champions League on Thursday.

Monaco are set to lock horns with none other than Barcelona tomorrow evening, in the respective clubs’ season opener on the continent.

And Vanderson and Henrique – the latter of whom is capable of filling a whole host of roles on the pitch – will be very much under the microscope at the Stade Louis II.
