Nicolas Jackson will not remain at Bayern Munich permanently, according to Uli Hoeneß. The former president of the Bavarian club has unveiled the details of the loan deal for the Senegalese striker from Chelsea. He insists that the conditions for a permanent transfer will never be met by the 24-year-old.
Hoeneß revealed that Jackson's loan actually costs €13.5 million for Bayern Munich, not €15 million as initially reported. The ex-club chief explained that the player and his agent contributed €3 million to make the move happen. This financial involvement is a clear sign of Jackson's determination to join the Allianz Arena.
"The player and his agent paid €3 million, so we paid a €13.5 million loan fee. There will definitely not be a permanent contract. That would only happen if he plays 40 games from the start, which will never happen," Uli Hoeneß told Sport1 Dopa.
Pushed towards the exit at the Blues, the Senegalese striker was determined to leave Stamford Bridge to reignite his career. His desire to experience the Bundesliga and work with Vincent Kompany led him to accept these special transfer conditions.
The Bavarian management negotiated a favorable loan by leveraging the motivation of the player and his camp. The club secures a quality striker for one season without risking a major long-term investment.
