Bayern listed as one of several suitors for Tottenham's Pape Matar Sarr | OneFootball

According to sources at Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur's Pape Matar Sarr is on several clubs' radars including Bayern Munich.

It's believed the energetic 23-year-old midfielder could be signed by the German record champions to replace Leon Goretzka.

Aside from the Bavarians, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly interested in the Senegalese international. 

The background as to why Sarr could be sold by Spurs is due to the fact that they are in serious danger of relegation from the Premier League. 

They are currently in 18th-place in the table, trailing fellow Londoners 17th-placed West Ham United who are safe as things stand.

Should relegation to the Championship actually occur, financial troubles would likely force Tottenham to sell players en masse. 

Sarr is considered one of the most intriguing players in the squad given his high potential, and whose future is currently uncertain.

CaughtOffside – another reputable source – believe Spurs' asking price is around £50million, which is approximately €57million.

This price is significantly higher than his estimated market value of €32 million, which could complicate a transfer for Bayern Munich.

Besides the European heavyweights, Turkish Süper Lig giants Fenerbahçe is also in the running for the midfielder.
